RBI - International Tax & European Conference

Caversham are delighted to have the honour of hosting the Russell Bedford International combined International Tax and European Conference, which will be held at the Hotel de France, St Helier, Jersey on 12 – 14 May 2007.

Topics to be discussed in workshops this year include:

- discussion on protected cell companies, incorporated cell companies, alternative company structures and associated tax issues; and 

- the tax treatment of Islamic finance (Sharia-compliant) products in different countries; and

- a case study on the tax aspects of funding an international charitable entity; and

- the development of non-audit services by member firms.

The guest speakers include Simon Howard an Advocate with the Jersey law firm Appleby Hunter Bailhache, Don Gardener of Barclays Capital and Tom Foster of Barclays Wealth and Alain-Amin Raad the Head of Islamic Finance with Merrill Lynch in Dubai.
