James Ramsden, one of Caversham’s Directors, recently competed in the 2008 World Coastal Rowing Championships in San Remo, Italy. James and his rowing partner, Ian Blandin, came seventh overall in the finals of the men’s pairs category on 18 October 2008 and were the highest placed British crew.

 

James said he was pleased with the result given the challenging sea conditions over the 8km course and the calibre of the other crews competing.
